Tomorrow, the Codeblacks battle for glory against the Australian team (webabies???) in the full code press. (This challenge should be called the “Blediscode Cup”)

Zef is over covering the action. Hopefully, he’ll be using the traditional commentary, “Full credit to…” and “It was a website of two halves…”

The big question is will they be doing the haka before kick-off ? And what will be the Australian reply???

There’s a lot of coverage on the web, Youtube , flickr , the official blog, codeblacks blog and the WIPA blog.

Go the Codeblacks, do us proud.

The ZoomIn Mapping System in Australia has been shutdown as of this morning (16/07/07).

We’ve shutdown the API, as its not viable for us to continue to run the API when there’s no level playfield for map data licensing.

We’d like to thank our customers for their business over the last 12 months.

If you’re looking for an alternative mapping system, please refer to either:

We are pleased to be helping people find Amy Banson as she walks for charity from Brisbane to Canberra. You can see where she has been already in the group Amy Banson – Walk with a rose.

Amy is currently catching up a few lost km’s by touring the surrounds of Warwick.

Robert Stainsby has been working hard on a new Mac plug-in that adds ZoomIn maps to the Mac OS X Services Menu.

Robert describes his mapping service as:

MappingService adds ZoomIn Maps to Mac OS X’s Services menu. A user can select a text address in most applications, then choose this menu item to map the selection in their browser.

You can download the software from Robert ’s Mapping Service page.

A big thanks to Robert!
