We switched ZoomIn from Apache + mongrel stack to mod_rails on the weekend. The transitition was a breeze. The configuration for mod_rails is super easy !
We’ve noticed the webserver is chewing through a lot less memory on the server and it scales up as demand grows.

How did it work out for speed? Does it feel any faster/slower?

Don’t _seem_ to be any slowdown at this stage. We use google’s crawler as a measure to how fast our site is running. If its slow, then google crawls less. Its been about the same and we’re watching very very closely.
