I have just added a whole bunch of pictures from this year’s Summer of Code on Flickr. Enjoy!

I subscribe to a RSS feed that shows me how ZoomIn hits the blogsphere. I discovered today that someone is using copied ZoomIn content to seed their link farm. At first I thought someone liked our site and wrote about here and here.
On closer inspection, I noticed that it contained a “cut and paste” of our “About Us” text . And they took time to include pictures ????
Arrrgghhh!!! Why why why???

As spotted on this years Where 2.0 2007 site
Was just reading the homepage on stuff and noticed there’s a huge “When X meets Y” ad for Yahoo Xtra.
It goes to show that Telecom will do anything and spend anything to promote their brands.
Sphere: Related ContentA friendly warning to anyone using google’s gmail or “hosted email”, the spam filter can be a little more agressive that you might like. I have been experiencing a number of problems where several of our customers emails had disappeared into the junk mail.
I suggest that you keep an eye on your junk folder to make sure that you don’t lose anything. Also you should periodically upload your contacts to gmail which will help make sure that the email you want remains in the INBOX!
Any suggests on how to tame hosted gmail would be appreciated !
Sphere: Related ContentHi, I’m Tom Beard. You may remember me from such blogs as WellUrban and The Wellingtonista.
I’ve just joined Projectx, and I’ll be starting full time on the 19th of March. I’ve been a fan of ZoomIn since I first wrote about it back in 2005, so it’s great to be a part of the team.
To start with, I’ll be Projectx’s new resident GIS specialist, but in my career I’ve also worked as a web designer, project manager, JavaScript developer, data visualiser, business analyst and data modeller, so in time I hope to put most of my skills to work. My blogging experience should also come in handy, and once I’m fully on board you’ll see more posts from me here on the Projectx blog.
