Robert Stainsby has been working hard on a new Mac plug-in that adds ZoomIn maps to the Mac OS X Services Menu.

Robert describes his mapping service as:

MappingService adds ZoomIn Maps to Mac OS X’s Services menu. A user can select a text address in most applications, then choose this menu item to map the selection in their browser.

Divemaster has added over 50 dive spots in Whangarei.

There are a variety of dive spots marked on the map,
Serpent Rock, The Labyrinth, Rogers Rocks, and Hope point.

We’ve pushed out a new update to New Zealand today – you can now post maps of any place on the map onto your weblog / website via an iframe.

Robert Stainsby have developed a couple of plugins for the Mac addressbook that hook up to the ZoomIn site.

The plugin is in Beta, so please give Robert any feedback to help him make it even better!
